The avalanche of holidays for the rest of this year is in full momentum, and many in the
United States are gathering with family, friends, and coworkers. People scheduled
potlucks for November. People scheduled holiday parties for December. It is almost the
end of the year. We are approaching the late 2020s. Time flies and waits for no one,
truly.
Many are giving food, time, and celebrating with festive energy. Some are not.
Remember, as you give to others, you give to yourself too. Be sure to give within your
household by nurturing the relationships and spending quality time with loved ones.
Give within yourself by setting boundaries and declining to see people you do not want
to spend time with. Especially those who diminish your festive mood the minute you
interact with them.
Giving is about love, which is our universal language on Earth. In the human
experience, you may not have 100 seasons to live through, so choose wisely whom
you’re giving to. It is unfair to make yourself uncomfortable in sacrifice of other’s
desires. Give to yourself, as you give to others. Your mind, body, and spirit will thank
you later.
With Love and Light,
Mary Love
